What age groups do you cater to?

Unicorn Daycare welcomes children from 6 months to 5 years old.

What qualifications do your educators have?

All our educators hold degrees in early childhood education or a related field and have completed extensive training and certifications in child development and safety.

What activities do you offer for the children?

We provide a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor play, games and puzzles, cooking, and educational activities that support social, emotional, and cognitive development.

What meals and snacks are provided?

We offer healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, including breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks.

What safety measures do you have in place?

Our safety measures include secure entry and exit points, CCTV cameras, fire alarms and extinguishers, and emergency evacuation plans. All staff members are trained in first aid and CPR.

How do you communicate with parents?

We maintain communication with parents through email, phone calls, and parent-educator meetings. We also provide regular updates on children’s progress and activities through daily reports and newsletters.

What is your policy on sick children?

We have a strict policy regarding sick children. Children with contagious illnesses are not permitted to attend daycare. We ask that parents keep their children at home until they are fully recovered.

What is your enrolment process?

Our enrolment process involves completing an application form, submitting necessary documentation such as health and immunisation records, and meeting with our director for a tour and discussion of our policies and procedures.

Which days are you closed?

We are closed on Bank Holidays and other formal holidays. For any additional closures, such as for staff holidays, we will provide at least two months’ notice.
