The Founder of Unicorn Day Care, Serap Uygur

As the founder of Unicorn Daycare, I am deeply committed to providing outstanding early childhood education. With a solid background in early years education and extensive experience, I have successfully delivered EYFS-aligned curricula that prioritise each child’s development in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

I am a dedicated and approachable educator who focuses on nurturing children’s growth through love, care, and effective teaching. My experience spans pedagogical approaches, creative drama, diversity management, and more. Before founding Unicorn Daycare, I worked with various childcare providers in London, honing my skills in delivering play-based learning for children aged 1-4.

Prior to this, I taught Turkish language and Drama, engaging students through creative methods and tailored lesson plans. My goal is to ensure that every child in my care becomes a happy, confident, and successful learner

The Founding Story of Unicorn Daycare

Unicorn Daycare’s name is inspired by a touching conversation with a young child who called me his “unicorn.” This special moment led me to choose a name that reflects the love, kindness, and magic I strive to bring to early childhood education.
